How, why?
How has it become that
Deciding on going to school
Or to stay at home was even
A thought to be thought?
How has it become that
Children cheer at the announcement:
"This is not in your syllabus"?
How has it become that
Learning is a burden
And not a window for
Endless opportunities?
When will the time come
That humanity learns
For the sake or learning,
And teach
For the sake of teaching.
Knowledge is to be
Shared, enjoyed, applied.
Not manipulated into a
Gross form, which makes people
Despise and ridicule it.
