CHINESE NEW YEAR 2015

- Day 1 -

Brunch @ Selangor Club! Food there is really good and cheap hehe.

My favourite dish was the nasi goreng papa Chin ordered.

Off to reunion dinner @ Aunty Su's house. Look at Adrianne clapping for herself haha!

Grow up to be strong and independent yah, you little poop!

- Day 2 -

Daddy being the great chef he is and decorating dishes for another reunion meal.

Kudos to the big sis for styling this outfit! Really impressed by how it came together :-)

*_* I really like this unexpectedly pretty shot.

#SQUADGOALS with the Chin fam bam - big, cool ass tattoos that we're so proud of.

KARAOKE @ REDBOX

Had a really good time belting out fun songs like Uptown Funk and rapping to Nicki Minaj's Super Bass.

I was impressed with the buffet that came along with the room package! I've never been to a karoke place that served buffet food so that was a first :-)

- Day 3 -

Travelling back to Singapore - a total of 8 hours (when it took us just 3 & 1/2 hours on our way to Malaysia)

Long car drives:

EXPECTATION --> Happy kids taking lots of selfies

REALITY --> dead tired from jerky stops in the car

Thank goodness our moods from that horrendously long drive were salvaged by delicious dinner at The Beast near Bugis.

 Ale | Cider

Beast Ceaser Salad!! This was really yummy, but the candy bacon didn't really go well with the rest of the dish.

A lamb dish my father ordered - so so so good! The sauce used really gives the whole dish a wonderful falvour. Best eaten when hot.

My sister and I ordered the more well-known chicken waffle! For those who love dipping fries in their ice cream, this is the dish for you. It comes with a small bottle of honey (which is very tasty) for you to dribble onto your waffle.

The triple combination did not work well for my taste buds but the chicken and waffle itself is wonderful~ I would see this dish as a two course meal hehe.

V-Day 2 0 1 5

Can't believe that it is already February? I would say the months since 'A' Levels ended have passed pretty quickly, but at the same time I am glad that there's still some months to go before University.

Besides that, Chek and I went on another Choomal Adventure for Valentine's Day this year :-)

While I was waiting for the boy to come to Caldecott station, I looked around for possible 'photo shoot locations'. I was in the mood to take pictures since I brought along my film camera hehe.

We climbed up a very steep hill and took some photos there ^_^ (Thanks Chek for accommodating me)

Right next to the MRT station were these blocks of houses, and I'm guessing they were for foreign workers and their families :-)

I thought the buildings looked pretty old school, plus I was intrigued by the red bricks in the picture above!

From Caldecott station, we crossed over to a place much bigger and astonishing.
- O L I V E   R O A D -

Both of us had never seen such humongous houses in our lives. Chek exclaimed, "Isn't it scary that people can afford these houses??"

It got me thinking and yeah it is pretty scary. Maybe I've never had that thought before because I've never had to think about housing.

It was a really interesting walk with the bae and we've always wanted to explore this area so yay! We've finally done it :-)

iSteaks Grillhouse @ Holland Village!!
Our favourite Western food restaurant at the moment. It had taken over Astons's spot in our hearts :O

I was really satisfied with my decision to go with the lamb shoulder (so so good!!).

★★★

Just felt like posting some (more) recent pictures of us together :-) hehe
 SA Open House!

 Trekking

Bus ride (I like this photo because it looks like one of those “when he stares at you” pictures you find on relationship tweets hahaha)

 Bishan MRT

Movie date @ Lido

Thanks for being there for me bb chooku~ Always more accommodating & understanding
than I am (though I don't verbally accept it heh).

New Werk! New Life!

Haha, may be a bit too exaggerated with the title but I really do feel much happier now! Managed to find a place really near my home and that saves me so much on travelling expenses, so thank goodness for that.

Also, work hours are not as long and I am comfortable with that :-) I even had time to do some reading today! I am glad everybody at work is pretty chill as long as you do your part. I guess I like it a lot there because I just have to complete what I have to do for the day and I get a lot of free time after that.

The funny thing is that I am going to collect my pay cheque from my old work place today!! Mildly terrified, to be honest. However, I am glad I might be able to see Sophia again :-)

Even if things turn sour, I promised myself that I would smile and be gracious because some people don’t know how to control themselves.

Back to my much better working life now, haha, I am just really thinking about how much I will be able to earn because I am using all my work money to pay for my holiday expenses. But as Pearly said:
钱可以赚回来”,
so I shall just do what I have to do each day till April comes!

Non-work news:
Work clashes with morning events but I am glad that I can still attend evening dance classes with my dancing bb gurls <3

I am also very thankful for frisbee sessions on Sunday morning :-)

Yeah, I guess this is just an update of my life now, which I’ve wanted to write out for quite some time.
